For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a writer. The concept of putting stories to print, of inking words to a page, of fleshing out characters and creating new worlds and new settings that would tell an original story has been a driving force in my life for longer than I can remember.
I started writing on a semi-serious basis back when I was about 12 years old. I can remember spending summers at my grandmother's house, dreaming of new and unknown places to visit. On rainy days I would sit for hours in her living room, using an upturned footstool as a desk, and it was there that I wrote my very first novels in long-hand form -- pencil to paper. I still have those books. They're quite bad, truly, but we all have to start somewhere, don't we?
Now, some twenty-five years or more onward, I think I have finally reached a level where my writing actually has merit and a life of its own. Like doctors, writers are constantly upgrading and polishing their craft. No real author will ever say that they have learned all that there is to learn, that they have reached the pinnacle of their talent, or that they have told every store there is to tell.
We are a vain bunch, we writers, and so I have created this website to showcase my own works. In here you will find several books that are already written, as well as a number of works-in-progress. There are also speculative novels that have been fleshed out in my head, but have not yet made it to print. Be patient, they're coming!
I'm also hoping that this website will become a portal for other authors such as myself who have had a difficult time finding a home where they can showcase their own talents. Submissions are always welcome. Who knows, maybe we'll find another William Shakespeare or Stephen King in our midst who, without this site, might have gone unnoticed.
Visitors are always welcome, as are comments and suggestions. But take note, I might not always be here. I've got a loving wife and an equally loving dog that command a good portion of my time away from the keyboard. Updates arrive as I find the time.
Hope you enjoy what you find here, and that you come back often.
